Scalpay Lighthouse

Description

Hand Painted Ceramic Picture Tile of Scalpay Lighthouse (Eilean Glas). The lighthouse was built in 1788 and was one of the first lighthouses constructed on the Scottish coastline. Situated on the isle of Scalpay off Harris in The Hebrides.This tile has a velvet backing with attached hook so that it can be hung as a picture.
